Execution and reporting

Posts go out on schedule, and the report says what the data shows, what it does not, and what to try next.

Audience and the problem

For teams that have been handed screenshots of view counts and still cannot say whether the campaign did anything.

  • Brands without a defined way to track clicks or orders from creators
  • Teams comparing platforms with different metrics
  • Owners who need a plain summary for a manager or partner

Deliverables

What arrives during and after the campaign.

  • Posting schedule with confirmation of each live post
  • Metrics collected per post from creator screenshots or platform exports, labelled by source
  • Report separating views, reach where provided, engagement, clicks and orders
  • A page on measurement limits stating what could not be verified
  • Recommendations for a next round

Process

From scheduling to report.

  1. Agree the metrics and tracking links before posting
  2. Confirm posting times with each creator
  3. Record live links and collect first metrics at agreed points
  4. Pull click and order data from your own analytics where available
  5. Compile the report and walk through it with you

What we need from you

Data the report depends on.

  • Access to or exports from your own web or store analytics
  • Order or conversion data for the campaign window, if you wish to compare
  • Agreement on the reporting date
  • A named contact for data questions

What drives the cost

Reporting effort depends on how much there is to collect.

  • Number of posts and platforms
  • How many reporting checkpoints you want
  • Whether your own data can be connected to the report
  • Depth of comparison between creators

Questions buyers ask

Are views the same as reach?

No. Views count plays and may include repeats by the same person. Reach counts distinct people, and not every platform reports it.

Can you add up reach across platforms?

Not honestly. The same person may see content on two platforms, and no platform can deduplicate across the others.

Do clicks mean sales?

No. Clicks show interest. Sales need your own order data, and even then attribution has limits we will state.
